It’s frustrating when your garden isn’t looking as you wish or your favourite plant looks like it’s turning up its roots. I’m here to help. Anything from a complete garden to a border or a single plant needing attention, help is at hand. Also, if you have a special occasion and would like living plant arrangements instead of cut flowers which don’t last that long, I’m here to help.
How I Can Help
Gardening
I provide outdoor gardening services covering everything from a complete garden restoration to border maintenance. While indoors, I can make living arrangements to complete jungle rooms providing a relaxing green space within your home for all year round enjoyment. Both outdoor and indoor horticulture tasks are undertaken with attentive care.
Advice
Thoughtful advice will be given after a free survey has been carried out to assess what needs to be done to fulfil your wishes. Problems with the growth or health of a specific plant can be rectified after a diagnosis.
Growing
Many plants are grown in-house from seed and through propagation techniques. Other plants are available from trusted suppliers. Some seeds can be directly sown to enhance the garden.
Planting
Plantings in both outdoor and indoor settings are carried out after consultation and agreement with the client. The right plant needs to be located in the correct place to have a happily growing specimen.

Passionate Gardener
I have been gardening for as long as I can remember from ‘helping out’ my parents as soon as I could push a wheelbarrow, they must have been very patient, to today when I’m energetically tending my plot. Altogether over 50 years of gardening experience.
I have horticultural qualifications in general organic gardening, landscape conservation, indoor horticulture and plant health and growth. Training and updating knowledge is something I firmly believe in. I have taken the Sustainable Green Growth Pledge and Equality Pledge.
I am a member of the RHS, Garden Organic and Chartered Institute of Horticulture.
My Approach
My Process
All tasks are first assessed and a quotation is given. Most of the tasks will be performed using hand tools. If power tools are used, then they are electric powered to stop any carbon emissions. Any tasks undertaken will be with the agreement of the client. Any alterations, due to unforeseen circumstances, will be discussed with the client before being carried out.

Where do you operate?
Mostly in SY23, 24, 25 but anywhere in the UK is considered.
Do you charge for travelling?
Not in SY23, 24, 25. Other areas there is a charge per mile. For really long distance assignments, overnight accommodation charges will also be applied.
How much will the work cost?
I will provide a quotation for time and labour which is fixed for the whole of the contract and won’t be increased. Plants and other consumables will be charged separately.
Can the weather affect your work?
I work in all outdoor conditions apart from when the ground is frozen, there is torrential rain or a combination of gales and rain. I work in light rain and windy conditions as well as fine. The only hindrance for indoor work is if I can’t physically get to there due to snow, ice or flooding.
I see that you do living arrangements, what are those?
Well, instead of having cut flowers for special occasions such as weddings or anniversaries, I will provide arrangements of living plants which the celebrants can take with them after the happy event as a long lasting memento of the occasion.
Can I garden alongside you while you are working in my garden?
Yes, that isn’t a problem.
